BERAS Implementation

Agriculture for a sustainable future
The Baltic Sea suffers from eutrophication, largely due to nutrient leakage from specialized farming. But there is a solution, which is based on a conversion to Ecological Regenerating Agriculture (ERA).

BERAS Implementation (Baltic Ecological Regenerating Agriculture and Society) aims at establishing organic and sustainable agriculture (ERA farms) in all countries in the Baltic Sea region, involving the whole food chain in creating Sustainable Food Societies and increasing consumer engagement through the Diet for a Clean Baltic concept.

BERAS Implementation has 24 project partners from 9 countries and 35 associated organisations with representatives also from Russia and Norway. The project is part-funded by EU.
